Plot Main article: Plot summary of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 In order to create this unique sound, Monolith Soft commissioned custom recreations of Noah and Mio's flutes. Music plays a key role in this game, owing to Noah and Mio's roles as off-seers. The game's soundtrack was written by previous Xenoblade series composers Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE (Tomori Kudo and Hiroyo "CHiCO" Yamanaka), and Kenji Hiramatsu, alongside Mariam Abounnasr, who previously arranged tracks for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The game was officially revealed in a February 2022 Nintendo Direct, with a slated release window of September 2022.
